The $2 Billion Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility is one of the major components of LAX’s Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP). The approximately 6.3-million-square-feet facility will house over 18,000 rental car vehicles including ready/return, idle storage and employee parking spaces with a rental car leaving the facility approximately every two seconds during peak activities.

CMF scope of work included installation of 65,000 square feet of Kingspan Insulated Core Metal Panels at the exterior skin of the building and 65,000 sf of full-length standing seam panels on the stair towers. Our scope also included 66,000 sf of suspended metal ceilings, with a canopy above the train tracks and 3 smaller canopies above the elevator pits. We also installed 40 each .125 aluminum plate metal column covers 25’ tall and 35,000 sf of flush seam panels.
